Privacy — iPhone

VoiceStrip for iPhone collects nothing about you, and it contains no code that connects to the internet.
No accounts, ads or tracking
There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no crash reporting. That applies to everyone, including children.
Your voice
When you talk to VoiceStrip, the speech AI built into your iPhone turns your words into text. Your voice never leaves your phone. Dictation that is part of iOS itself is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
Allow Full Access
Turning on “Allow Full Access” lets VoiceStrip do two things: pass the words from a listening session to the keyboard, and read your clipboard when you tap Paste. With it off, Paste is hidden and a listening session can’t reach the keyboard. Either way, nothing leaves your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your last few phrases from a listening session, so the keyboard can type them in.
- Your own words and fixes, if you add any.
- Your recent emoji, so they show first.
Nothing you type is stored, and nothing is used to train anything. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
The App Store
When you install VoiceStrip from the App Store, Apple handles the download under its own privacy policy, and may show us anonymous, combined statistics such as download counts — nothing that identifies you.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: huan@vowric.com.
